Between 16:00 UTC and 18:18 UTC, we have identified that a very small portion of our outbound SMTP traffic had trouble authenticating to our service. The root cause for this has been identified and the issue has been fixed as of 18:18 UTC.

We will have post a detailed post mortem soon about all the authentication issues and the steps we have put in place for this.
